If you type what you are looking for in the "For Sale Search"  text box, and then click search, you can then either enter your zip code and put the mileage limitation on how far you want to search, and then click the search button below.

You can aslo search for items within your area code.  For instance, if you are looking for a necklace just in suffolk county, NY, Then you search for a necklace, then type in an area code (631 in this case) and it will only return listings from people within that area code.
